Since 1980, Sierra Repertory Theater has provided outstanding theater shows to people all over northern California. Sixty five thousand people attend shows per year and many people travel over an hour to witness the spectacular shows put on. There are two theaters. The first is located in Sonora. Upcoming shows include Stand By Your Man running from May 14-June20, The marvelous Wonderettes running from June 25-August 15, Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn running from July 16-August 29, Master Class running from September 3-26, Red, White, and Tuna running from September 17-October 17, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas running from October 22-December 18, and the Andrews Sisters: Christmas of Swing running from November 5 to December 19. Keep in mind these shows can be at either of the two theaters as part of the Sierra Repertory Theater.

Ticket prices are 22 dollars for a matinee on Wednesday, 25 dollars for Thursday evenings, 26 dollars for Friday/Saturday evenings, and 28 dollars for matinees on Saturday/Sundays. Student prices are always 20 dollars for a performance, child prices are always 18 dollars for a performance, and senior tickets are usually a couple dollars cheaper.

Because Sierra Repertory believe it is very important to be a part of the community, they participate in an education outreach program that includes sending professionals into schools for presentations, occasional workshops and advanced training, and finally student and group discounts.
