Pardee Lake Reservoir – Enjoy Fishing, Camping, Picnicking, Boating, Weather And Hiking
Pardee Lake opened in 1958. It is open daily from the first Friday in February through the last Sunday in October each season. Fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, and swimming in the swimming pools are the primary activity. Water skiers, jet skiers, or lake swimmers are not allowed on Pardee Lake. Richard and Kerry Cooper are the owners and they do a wonderful job overseeing Pardee Lake.
For the fishermen and women, there are many fish to be caught including Rainbow Trout, Kokanee Salmon, Bass, Catfish, and sunfish. For the nature lovers, there is plenty of wildlife to view including Deer, wild Turkey, geese and other migratory birds, squirrels, rabbits, and quail.
Every year Pardee Lake hosts the Annual Kids Fishing Derby to learn about fishing and show an appreciation for the sport. Other events include the Kokanee Power Derby on August 28, Free Fish Day (no state permit required to fish) on September 6th and the Hot Red Heaven Car Show on September 25.
