The town of Murphys California located in the Sierra Nevada foothills has many fun events throughout the year in addition to regular favorites such as the many wineries, delicious restaurants, art galleries, live theatre, antique shops, civil war reenactments, the annual Frog Jumps, and much much more. There is a reason people call this town the “Queen of the Sierra”.

One such live performance is Into the Woods presented by Murphys Creek Theater and performed at the Albeno Munari Vineyard and Winery (formeley Stevenot). Into the Woods takes characters and references from many well-known fairytales and fits them into a story about a baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family.

Into the Woods presented by Murphys Creek Theater is running from July 30 to September 5, 2010. The performance begins at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays with one Sunday evening performance on September 5, 2010. Into the Woods is directed by Graham S.
